K-Bell Turns 35

Posted: March 19, 2019

The 35th annual Kiwanis-Bellarmine track meet, i.e., K-Bell, was held on March 9th at Westmont High School. The joint venture between Bellarmine and the Kiwanis Club of West San Jose has become one of the premiere track and field events in the area, the proceeds of which go entirely to charity.

The meet always boasts some outstanding competition, and the 2019 version was no exception. Keanu Lee '19 earned the Male Field Athlete of the Meet award for his shot put throw of 51'5", the longest in the Central Coast Section (CCS) this year. Bellarmine's varsity team placed fifth overall, while the frosh-soph team turned in a first place finish.
