BellsGive celebrates our founding on May 8, 1851. Our 168-year old tradition of educating "men for and with others" is one in which we take great pride, and we hope you'll partner with us in shaping a bright future for our students (and future generations of students) by participating in our one-day giving campaign.

Support from the Bellarmine community is essential to our success and the success of our students. It’s largely due to the generous gifts received that we are able to provide a rich and diverse Catholic education in the Jesuit tradition.

  1. Nearly one in four Bellarmine students receives tuition assistance each year.
    Bellarmine awards over $4 million in tuition assistance, one of the highest amounts of financial aid given by a high school in Northern California. Our commitment to offering need-blind admission allows Bellarmine to attract the best candidates despite a family’s financial capacity.
  2. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of a Bellarmine education.
    It costs roughly $3,000 more to educate a Bell than is covered by tuition. This gap represents our commitment to affordable education for families of diverse financial means.
  3. Our Ignatian educators, lay and Jesuit, provide a world-class education in a caring environment.
    What our alumni and parents know is that the Jesuit concept of magis extends inside and outside the classroom. Your support allows our educators - faculty, staff, coaches and mentors - to challenge students to be a better version of themselves each day.
  4. Our community is our greatest strength.
    The affection shared for Bellarmine is unparalleled, and whether you are an alumnus, parent, grandparent, past parent or friend, we are able to help our students excel only because of your collective goodwill. It is never about how much you give, but that you give with a generous heart.

This year, our focus is on highlighting the experiences and opportunities which a Bellarmine education offers to its students, i.e., #BellLive.

We'll be in touch via email and social media leading up to May 8th. If you don't already follow us on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and/or Twitter, you'll find us @BellarmineBells. Prayer for Generosity

Lord, Teach me to be generous.
Teach me to serve you as you deserve;
To give and not to count the cost,
To fight and not to heed the wounds,
To toil and not to seek for rest,
To labor and not to ask for reward,
Except that of knowing that I do your will. Amen.
St. Ignatius of Loyola, Pray for us.
